18.5 Interrogative clauses in reported speech

As in English there is actually no difference whether the reported clause is an affirmative, a negative or an interrogative clause. The only difference is the conjunction.

Example
He says that I will leave for London tomorrow.
He asks if I will leave for London tomorrow.

The French constructs according to the same logic.

Example
Elle dit, que je pars demain pour Londres.
Elle demande, si je pars demain pour Londres.
