18.4 Imperative in the indirect speech
In English the imperative is transformed to an infinitive form.
Example
He says, "Do not drink this."
He says not to drink this.
The same is done in French, here the infinitive is added with the preposition
de
.
Example: de + infinitive
Elle lui ordonne: "Ne le fais pas!"
