5.5 Prepositions

We have already seen prepositions when we discussed the declination. However, also in many other situations they are needed and sooner or later you will see that without a preposition a language is really poor. Just for fun we will mark all preposition in this introductory text, so you see how often they are used.
Prepositions define the relation between objects, in means of space, time or also in metaphoric meaning.

in means of space
The book is on the table.
The book is under the table.
in means of time
He comes home after eight.
He comes home in ten minutes.
metaphoric meaning
They talk about him.
Under his ruling the science grew strong.
