19.1.4 Addition of n' est-ce pas

In English you can turn every declarative clause into a question by adding isn't it, don't you etc..

You have been at the doctor's, haven't you?
You did not tell him, didn't you?
You lost your money, right?

The same function has the French n'est-ce pas (word-for-word: Isn't it?).

Tu n' es pas allé chez le médecin, n' est-ce pas?
Tu ne lui as rien dit, n' est-ce pas?
Tu as perdu ton argent, n' est-ce pas?
