As mentioned before, the subjonctif is used whenever fear, insecurity, hope, desire and irreality is expressed. This again then means that whenever we have a conjunction expressing fear, insecurity, hope, desire and/or irreality this conjunction also requires the subjonctif.
There are, however, few exceptions - we have mentioned them already before.
