9.2 English conditional forms

The English conditional is a compound form of the modal verbs would or should and the full verb in infinitive or perfect.

Examples conditional I (present conditional)
he would go to the moon ...
she would buy more shoes ...
they should marry tomorrow ...
Examples conditional II (past conditional)
it would have happened ...
we should have written ...
you would have done better ...
