She has gone to Spain.
Elle partie en Espagne.
We have gone to Spain.
Nous allés en Espagne.
We have written a letter to him.
Nous lui écrit une lettre.
* Here we have a tricky little detail. Actually nager is a intransitive verb and être should be used. However, when the intransitive verb describes a form of motion, not the direction, it is used with avoir. This means that the passé composé of nager is formed with avoir.
