15 Participle, infinitive and gerunds

We will now have a closer look at the participles (there are present and perfect participles, that are used in the same way, but have a different aspect in time), infinitives and gerunds. Well, for English the difference between present participle and gerund are only in the function, not in the form, which can make things a bit different, when we start to compare the English with the French version. But, we will go one step after another and we will try to emphasise the similarities and differences between English and French.
