220.127.116.11 Exceptions from the rules of French comparatives
There are a two exceptions to the rule as we have seen them before, unfortunately these exceptions are the most used words in comparisons: better and worse.

He speaks better than you.
This is better this way.
You see, there is no plus ... que, but there is (as it is in some English adjectives/adverbs) a so called organic form of a comparative.
