12.2 Simple conjunctions

In French as well as in English one can differenciate between simple and compound conjunctions.
simple conjunctions (consisting of only one word) |
We go there, but we do not like the location. |
He was talking without a break, while she listened. |
compound conjunctions (consisting of more than one word) |
I do not like him, and moreover I do not like him. |
He cannot do it, even if he wanted to. |
There are quite a number of conjunctions, however we tried to collect the most important ones.
