One has to do it in a way that everyone is content.
12.11.1.3 en sorte que = in a way, so that (with subjonctif)
Il faut faire en

tous arrivent à l' heure.
One has to do it in a way that all arrive on time.

Il m' a ouvert la porte, de façon que je puisse entrer.
He has opened the door for me so that I could enter.

12.11.1.5 afin que... = so that (with subjonctif)
Je lui ai donné cet argent afin qu' il soit content.
I gave him the money so that he be content.

que je sache de mon côté
ce que je dois faire.
Tell me what you want to do so that I know for my part, what I have to do.
afin que and afin de
a) Je suis venu afin de pouvoir l' aider.
I have come to be able to help him.
b) Il est venu afin qu' il puisse m' aider.
He came so that he can help me.
The difference between afin de (a) and afin que, pour que, de façon que lies in the subject. Is the subject the same, one can use afin de. Is the subject in both phrases different (b) then afin que, pour que, de façon que is to be used.
12.11.1.6 pour que = so that (with subjonctif)
Il travaille pour que ses enfants puissent aller à l' école.
He works so that his children can go to school.
